Skate. Learn. Travel. Belong.
International Ice Dance Camps For Adult Skaters Who Love To Skate.
Train with experienced coaches, improve your skating and ice dance technique, and spend time with a friendly international community of adult skaters, all in some of Europe’s most beautiful skating destinations.
Ice Dance Events is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit organisation creating inspiring and inclusive skating camps for adult ice dancers. Building on the legacy of Jimmy Young’s Garmisch-Partenkirchen camp, we bring adult skaters together from around the world to learn, connect and celebrate the art of ice dance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you need ice dance experience?
No, you don’t need previous ice dance experience. You should, however, be comfortable with basic skating skills such as forward and backward edges, runs, cross rolls and three-turns.
Our camps focus on the edges, turns and steps that form the foundation of ice dance, while also helping you develop your footwork, speed, edge quality, transitions, timing and control.
I don’t have a dance partner, is that ok?
That’s absolutely fine!
Most of our skaters come without a partner, and all our camp sessions are designed to work for solo skaters.
Come on your own. Leave with new friends.
